Veloce Valuations will host a Trunk-or-Treat during the Lighthouse Children's Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct 25, 2pm-5pm.

Bring the whole family to see around a dozen beautiful motor vehicles on display in the parking lot and collect Halloween candy. Owner Steve Kittrell and his team specialize in amazing cars, so this is going to be fun!

Free Emergency Skills Training: Monterey CERT, February 2026

Monterey residents! Learn about emergency medicine, fire extinguishers, disaster preparedness, shutting off your utilities, rescue, communications when phones fail, and assessing a home or workplace after an earthquake or storm.

The next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program begins on February 7 and continues on three consecutive Saturdays. Anyone may enroll by sending an e-mail - you'll receive a confirmation with class details.
