Hollywood's Big Night: A Fundraiser for MCFC

The Lighthouse District's own Monterey County Film Commission (MCFC) is pleased to announce its annual fundraiser: Hollywood's Big Night, at the Cannery Row Brewing Company.
This fun and glamorous celebration of the Academy Awards presentation will feature a red carpet, logo wall for posing, silent auction, and "Live Wire" online fun and commentary. Multiple television screens for watching the broadcast of th Oscars will allow guests to mingle with friends and fellow movie fans. KSBW 8 news anchor Erin Clark will be the MC. After the telecast ends, guests can stay for a free after-party with the Live From The BASSment band and movie music.
Admission is a donation of $20; food and beverages available for purchase at the bar. A 3-course dinner with reserved seating is available at a price of $75 with delicious choices of prime rib, grilled salmon or butternut squash risotto, with starters, sides, and chocolate cake included. The non-profit Monterey County Film Commission works to enhance economic development by bringing movies and other media productions to Monterey County, and provides educational programs and an annual film student scholarship.
