Monterey Bay Aquarium: Screening of "Saving Otter 501"
This event has already passed
Monterey Bay Aquarium invites Aquarium members to join us for the debut screening of PBS Nature's Saving Otter 501, a reimagined and reedited documentary of the film Otter 501.
Saving Otter 501 documents the culmination of nearly 30 years of pioneering research and caring for sea otters as we follow the journey of Otter 501 from her rescue as a stranded three-day old pup, through her upbringing at the Monterey Bay Aquarium where she learns how to dive, hunt, and eat, to her eventual release back into the wild. A panel discussion and Q&A session with otter scientists and the films' human stars follows the screening.
This special event is exclusively for Aquarium members and their guests. Reservations are required; to reserve your space please call our Membership Office at 1-800-840-4880. Please click here for Aquarium membership information.
