New Monterey Neighborhood Association Board Meeting

The New Monterey Neighborhood Association invites everyone to join us for the NMNA's Board Meeting held on the lower level of Hilltop Park Center on the second Monday of every month at 7pm.
Tonight, we'll be talking about parks, recreation, open space and vegetation in preparation for updating New Monterey's Area Plan. Your opinion matters - please come and share your thoughts on our neighborhood's future!
Do we want to continue to use Bay View School grounds as a community park after hours and on weekends? What recreation uses would we like that we don't currently have? Do we still care about preserving our healthy trees? Is erosion or water runoff a problem for anyone? (We can ask the city to address such issues through guidelines for new construction or remodels.) How important is it to have private open space for new condominiums when apartments are converted? Do we still want small lots for trees and spots of nature? These are just a sample of the issues we'll be discussing tonight.
