This event has already passed

The Monterey Hostel, located in Monterey's Lighthouse District, is pleased to host a free potluck and travel program entitled Gettysburg Remembered: What Does It Mean to Us Today?

On the 150th Anniversary of the famous Civil War battle at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, travel back in time to revisit the era, the place, President Abraham Lincoln's address, and, more importantly, to explore Lincoln’s call to action and see if we can still hear his call for a new birth of freedom.

The optional potluck will begin at 6pm, the discussion will begin at 6:45pm. (Help setting up at 5:30pm is appreciated.) Everyone is welcome! If you're attending the potluck, please bring your favorite side-dish to share or make a monetary donation. For more information, please phone 831-899-3046 or 831-372-5762.
