Paper Wing Theatre Company is pleased to present The Last Five Years, a musical by Jason Robert Brown. Performances are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, January 25 - February 9 in our intimate Gallerie Theatre.
The plot of this contemporary musical involves a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hyatt, a struggling actress. While Jamie's story is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met, full of hope), Cathy's story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning at the bitter end of the marriage).
