American Burger Hawaiian Night: Ho'omana & Patti Maxine

This event has already passed

American Burger in New Monterey is pleased to present a celebration of the second anniversary of our popular Hawaiian Night! Tonight, we'll feature the Ho'omana Hawaiian Band and steel guitar virtuoso Patti Maxine. The Shorebirds with Marilyn Kapue Gibbons will open with a short set. To show our appreciation for your support, there will be free dessert!

The Ho’omana Hawaiian Band is one of the top recording and performing groups of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music in Northern California. Group members include Clinton Kaleikini (vocals, ukulele), Robert Uncangco (vocals, 6-string rhythm guitar), Manley Bush (vocals, 6-string slack-key guitar), and Eddy Navarro (bass).

Lap steel virtuoso Patti Maxine is one of the hardest working musicians in Santa Cruz. A session player in constant demand, Patti plays most nights of the week. A musical Swiss army knife, she handles a wide variety of styles with ease, sliding gracefully from Hawaiian to swing, from R&B and rock, from blues to jazz and back again.

Suggested donation at the door is $10 per person; dinner available for additional charge. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended - RSVP to Jose Miguel at 831-373-7573 before the show is sold out!
