City Council allocated $800K to fund this program, which will assist residents and workers in Monterey who experienced a loss of income due to Covid-19 and need help with rent. To be eligible you must live or work in the City of Monterey, experience a loss of income due to Covid-19, have a lease agreement or letter from your landlord confirming tenancy, be current on rent payments prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, and make less that 80% of the area's medium income.
