The New Monterey Business Association has received requests for auction donations from Lighthouse District businesses for two local schools, La Mesa Elementary and Trinity Christian High School. Please consider donating an auction item if you are able. Details are below.

La Mesa Elementary School Fundraiser, May 4
La Mesa Elementary School in Monterey is seeking auction donations for its 14th Annual Spring Auction: Salute to the Services which will take place on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Monterey Elks Lodge. Over 85% of our 400 students are dependents of military families stationed at the Naval Post Graduate School or the Defense Language Institute, and their families frequently shop in the Lighthouse District.

With the help of our annual auction, La Mesa aims to raise $10,000 which will provide the children with music, art, and physical education throughout the year. Please consider supporting our local students through a donation of goods or services. Your donation may be tax-deductible, as we are a registered 501c3 charity; in addition, your name or business will be listed in our auction program and you will be acknowledged on our website and Facebook page. Please visit our event website for more information, or contact DeDe Bolke at 719-651-5803.
