Scholze Park Community Center in the Lighthouse District is pleased to present the play! Monterey Travel Program, including a variety of travel experiences for a variety of budgets. Today we'll be taking a trip to see The Book of Mormon performed in San Jose
The nine time Tony Award winner for Best Musical is coming to San Jose! The Book of Mormon tells the story of two young Mormon Missionaries sent to a remote village in Northern Uganda. Naïve and optimistic they try to share the Book of Mormon but have trouble connecting with the locals who are more worried about war, famine, poverty and AIDS than about religion. Please note: adult content, not suitable for children.
