Paper Wing Theatre Company presents The Marvelous Wonderettes!, a musical by Roger Bean directed by Kate Bradley Faber. Performances are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm, September 12-28 at our Lighthouse District theatre.
It's the 1958 Springfield High School senior prom and four teenage girls who are the school's award-winning singers are asked to step in as the entertainment. You'll be transported back in time as they sing and dance to the popular songs of the fifties! Act Two takes place ten years later at the girls' high school reunion. Singing some of the favorite hits of the sixties, each of the girls tells the story of what has happened to her since. This is a delightful musical romp!
