Pearl Hour is celebrating our sixth birthday with Diamond Life, a band dedicated to performing the songs of Sade, on Saturday, September 7 at 8pm.
About Diamond Life
Diamond Life captures the smooth sophistication of Sade’s timeless music while infusing it with their own unique, improvisational flair. From jazz-inspired improvisations to deep groove-driven jams, the band transforms classics like Smooth Operator and Your Love is King into electrifying live experiences.
This Monterey-based group features Malinda DeRouen (vocals), Ben Herod (sax), Zach Westfall (bass), Sam Nilsson (guitar), Bill Spencer (piano), Justin Horrell (drums), and Aaron Hipschman (percussion).
