2025 Monterey Peninsula Pride After Party

Monterey Peninsula Pride presents our After Party for ages 21 and up at Pearl Hour cocktail bar on Saturday, June 28, 6pm-1am. $20 cover.
Join us for a night of love, laughter, and dancing as we celebrate pride and the 50th anniversary of the After Dark bar. We'll have beats by DJ Luna and a special performance by Rogue Roulette and Khloe Quarterpounder.
About After Dark & Pearl Hour
Pearl Hour sits on legendary ground! The After Dark was an iconic gay bar that lit up the nightlife scene in Monterey starting in 1975. For 24 fabulous years, until its closing in 1999, The After Dark was more than just a club - it was a vibrant, judgment-free zone where the LGBTQ+ community could dance, connect, and celebrate freely.
Though After Dark eventually closed its doors, its spirit lives on at Pearl Hour, which keeps the love alive with LGBTQ+ nights, monthly drag shows, and the same inclusive, electric energy that made the After Dark so unforgettable.
Monterey Pride Celebration
Earlier in the day, be sure to attend the Pride Parade in Downtown Old Monterey at 11am and the family-friendly Pride Celebration at Custom House Plaza 12pm-3pm!
