Monterey City Council and Airport Board Candidate Forum

The New Monterey Neighborhood Association and the League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring a Monterey City Council & Airport Board Candidate Forum on Monday, September 29 at Hilltop Park Center. All are welcome! Meet the candidates and be an informed voter.
The two-part evening will consist of two forums: the candidate forum for the Airport Board will begin 6:30pm; the candidate forum for Monterey City Council will begin at 7:30pm. Before the forums, we'll allow time for a meet-and-greet and a chance for you to write down your questions for the candidates.
There are two seats available for Monterey City Council, and four candidates in the running: Timothy Barrett, Hansen Reed, Nancy Selfridge, and Ed Smith. There are also two seats available for the Airport Board, and three candidates in the running for that: Carl Miller, Matthew Nelson, and Dan Presser. Clyde Roberson is running unopposed for Mayor.
