This event has already passed
Green Chalk Contemporary in Monterey's Lighthouse District is proud to present Fresh Fish, an exhibition open July 12 - August 9, 2014.
The entire community is welcome to join us for the opening reception for the exhibition on Saturday, July 12, 6pm-8pm. The evening will feature a talk by Fresh Fish artist Michael Kerbow at 6pm.
Beautiful of bizarre? Ravishing or repulsive? When it comes to viewing fish, it's all in the eye of the beholder! In this extraordinarily diverse exhibit, Green Chalk will feature fish-themed art from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Augusta, Oakland, Washington, DC, Pacific Grove, Lummi Island, Tokyo, Monterey, and Carmel....appearing together for the first time!
We invite you to join us, get personal, and explore what "fish" means to you. Engage in some one-on-one time with the fish and see what happens!
Green Chalk Contemporary art gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday, 1pm-7pm and by appointment. For more information, please phone Ami-Sue Lawless at 831-601-0534.
