Paper Wing Theatre presents Zoe Boekbinder

Paper Wing Theatre Company is pleased to present singer/songwriter Zoe Boekbinder in concert for one night only, Friday, January 24. Doors will open at 7pm and the show will begin at 8pm. Cost is $15 per person; tickets will be available on the Paper Wing website and at the door on the night of the show.
Boekbinder possesses with a timeless, lived-in voice that recalls vinyl records and old time speakeasies. Her songs are anchored by finger-picked acoustic guitar, but she often experiments with either acoustic instruments (string instruments) or electronics (loop pedals, distortion effects). Her last album, Darling Specimens, was widely lauded as a prime example of a folk artist redefining the genre.
Zoë Boekbinder has shared the stage with folks like Amanda Palmer, Kaki King, Jeff Lewis, and Neil Gaiman. Before launching her solo career, she spent five years recording and performing as Vermillion Lies - a folk/cabaret duo with her sister, Kim Boekbinder.
