It's true! Authentic Pigalle-style Burlesque is coming to Paper Wing Theatre in New Monterey! Les Filles Rouges, the originator of 'progressive burlesque' that both empowers and entertains, is coming for a couple of unforgettable nights of song, dance, and underpants! What happens when a flock of Filles and their devilish MC travel here from gay Paree, just in time for Cupid's birthday? They end up with a show of pure Parisian love.
What is "progressive burlesque?" Coined to define Les Filles Rouges' particular style, the phrase is meant to convey the duality of their unique brand of burlesque - sexy but not sexual, lusty but not lewd. It's surprisingly classy, side-splittingly funny, and occasionally poignant - burlesque at its best!
