This event has already passed
Scholze Park Community Center in the Lighthouse District is pleased to present the Golden 55 Travelers Program, including a variety of travel experiences for a variety of budgets. Today we'll be taking a trip to the San Francisco Ferry Building.
Spend a lovely day at the historic San Francisco Ferry Building, the people's marketplace, serving residents and travelers alike. From the gold rush until the 1930's, the Ferry Building became the transportation focal point for anyone arriving by train from the East as well as East Bay and Marin residents. Now it is a very upscale market where shops large and small celebrate food in all its forms. Restaurants and cafes serve cuisine representing the quality and cultural diversity of San Francisco's best chefs.
Cost is to $45. Tours depart from Scholze Park Community Center (Marina pick-ups are also available). All tours are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tours must be paid for when you sign-up. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and personal checks. For more information and to register, please phone the Scholze Park Community Center, 831-646-3878.
