Preparing for Sheltering-In-Place & Evacuation

Community Emergency Response Volunteers of the Monterey Peninsula and the Monterey Fire Department present a free workshop entitled Preparing for Sheltering-In-Place & Evacuation. The instructor will be Mike Brassfield, Emergency Planner and Monterey CERT member.

All people age 13 and older are encouraged to attend. Come by yourself or as a family! In this 3-hour workshop we'll cover what it means to shelter in place, how to keep yourself and your family safe, what it means if you're told to evacuate, what to take with you, where to go, and how to get there.
