Originally from Waimanalo, O'ahu, Hawaii, Kalae Miles began singing at an early age, performing with the Honolulu Boys Choir and the Haawaii Children's Opera Chorus. His extraordinary talent gave him the opportunity to study voice with the respected Hawaiian falsetto singer Richard Ho'opi'i as well as voice and ukulele with the legendary Kahauanu Lake. Most recently, Kalae has been exploring the intersection of jazz and Hawaiian music, from classic hapa haole tunes to contemporary and original songs.
