CERT: Intro to Emergency Preparedness Class
This event has already passed
If you need to evacuate in an emergency, what should you take with you? If you're told to "shelter in place"... what does that mean and what should you have on hand to keep you and your family safe?
Back by popular demand, the Monterey Fire Department is sponsoring a 3-hour Introduction of Emergency Preparedness Class taught by Mike Brassfield, Emergency Planner and Monterey CERT member. This is an all-risk community-wide introduction planning class which aims to prepare people to deal with most emergency situations.
The class will be held in the Main Hall of the Monterey City Youth Center on Saturday, January 14, 6pm-9pm (doors will open at 5:45pm). Everyone from teens to seniors is welcome to this free class. Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult. RSVPs are appreciated, please click here to send an e-mail message.
