Carbone's in Monterey's Lighthouse District is pleased to present FreeSound. Tonight you'll also have a chance to meet some of the MotoGP racers from Laguna Seca's 2011 RedBull U.S. Grand Prix at our race afterparty! No cover charge.
Remember great music...Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin...bands that changed the way you see music and the world. That's what Freesound is doing today. They're a 5-piece band from Hawaii that inhabits the SF Bay Area, melding the sweet, rootsy sound of the Island with the funk, blues, and psychedelic rock of the Bay Area in its glory days. The band performs a wide range of original music and an ever-changing jukebox of covers spanning generations of music.
