Paper Wing Theatre Company presents the hilarious comedy The Birdcage on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, June 10 - July 9 on our Mainstage.
Armand Goldman owns a popular drag nightclub in South Miami Beach where his long-time lover, Albert, is the star. Their son, Val (who is Armand's biological son from a heterosexual fling twenty years ago), comes home to announce his engagement to Barbara Keely, daughter of Kevin Keely, a US Senator and Vice President of "The Committee for Moral Order." When Senator Keely and his wife descend upon South Beach to meet Val and his family, comic chaos ensues. The production features Armand's "Goldman Girls" in numerous show-stopping drag numbers!
